The National Pork Producers Council (NPPC) and the World Pork Expo would like to extend a warm welcome to all of our international visitors. There’s no better place in the world to absorb a year’s worth of industry developments in three days.

Visiting the U.S.

Rates for the World Pork Expo international headquarters, located at the Holiday Inn airport hotel, are US$169 per night for a single or double room (taxes and additional fees not included). Learn more about lodging and transportation options in Des Moines.

Food prices are quite reasonable compared to world standards; sit-down lunches range from US$9 to US$15, and dinners are from US$15 to US$50 (food only). Server gratuity is customarily 15 to 20 percent of the bill.

Please note: it is also customary to tip service providers like housekeepers and bellmen, and transportation providers like taxi and shuttle drivers.
