All About World Pork Expo
Since 1988, the National Pork Producers Council (NPPC) has presented World Pork Expo — just one of the many ways NPPC demonstrates unwavering commitment to the U.S. pork industry. On behalf of its members, NPPC works to develop and defend export markets, fight for reasonable legislation and regulation, and helps protect your livelihood. For more information, visit nppc.org.

Strategic Investment Program (SIP) Investors
The National Pork Producers Council and the World Pork Expo thank the SIP Investors for their support to help NPPC take action on issues that threaten pork producers’ freedom to operate responsibly.
As the primary source of funds for NPPC, pork producers participate by voluntarily investing a percentage of the price of each market hog sold. A portion of this investment is distributed as unrestricted funds to state pork producer organizations, allowing them to respond to threats on the local level. The funds are used to strengthen NPPC’s mission to enhance and defend the opportunities for U.S. pork producers at home and abroad. This differs from the mandatory checkoff funds managed by the National Pork Board that are used for pork demand enhancement, educational and research activities. By law, checkoff dollars cannot be used for public policy initiatives or lobbying.
